Compendia Rebrand

Rebranding SHHHH into Compendia to better align with sustainability and a global, scalable vision.

  • By 2021, SHHHH had evolved from a streetwear brand into a broader platform focused on culture and community. The challenge was to rebrand SHHHH to better reflect my refined mission of sustainability, collaboration, and a global outlook. The name also needed to be future-proof and easier to search and recognize.

  • As the founder and creative strategist, I worked closely with Ark Design to develop a new visual identity that captured the essence of the rebrand. This involved evolving SHHHH into Compendia, a name that better reflected our expanded focus on travel, lifestyle, and community-building.

  • Partnering with Ark, We built the new identity around the concept of global communities, incorporating flexible typography, iconography, and color palettes that could adapt to each city’s unique sense of place. We also developed the ‘Co’ as a recognisable prefix for key brand pillars such as Community, Collective, and Collaborate.

  • The rebrand successfully repositioned the business for a wider customer profile, with plans to expand into other cities globally. Compendia became a platform that better connected independent businesses and communities through city guides and global collaborations. The rebrand solidified my transition into a creative director and brand consultant focused on sustainability and community-driven messaging.
