Puma

A collaborative mural project to celebrate the release of the Puma Trinomic XT1 Yin Yang Pack trainer, inspired by the design of the trainer itself.

  • Puma and Complex Magazine approached me with a request to create a mural in celebration of the launch of the Puma Trinomic XT1 Yin Yang Pack. The challenge was significant: I had to secure a legal wall space, hire local artists, create a mural concept inspired by the trainer, and deliver both the mural and an edited video of the entire process—all within 3 days.

  • As the project lead and creative director, I handled every aspect of the project, from logistics and concept design to artist coordination and mural execution. I worked closely with local artists, organised the mural’s creation, and oversaw the production of the accompanying film.

  • Within 24 hours, I had secured a legal wall in a key location, designed the mural concept based on the Yin Yang theme of the trainer, and briefed a team of local artists to assist with the painting. I coordinated everything from material costs to scheduling, ensuring that we stayed on track.

The next day, we painted for 12 hours, from 9am to 9pm, bringing my mural concept to life. Alongside the mural painting, the process was filmed by Jamie Popple and Will Reyes, capturing the entire project for promotional purposes.

  • The project was completed within the tight deadline and the giant mural now serves as a permanent fixture in an events space in Norwich. The video documenting the mural’s creation was well-received by both Puma and Complex Magazine, gaining strong traction online and effectively promoting the launch of the Puma Trinomic XT1 Yin Yang Pack trainer.
